Releasing New Models of Flush Mount Conferencing Microphone Units
San Francisco, CA, June 26, 2013
The 2013 product releases from TAIDEN/Media Vision include a wide selection of conferencing microphones designed for elegant flush mounting into tables, lecterns or the armrests of chairs. The new HCS-48U7, U8 and U9 Series, already successfully installed in corporate boardrooms and training centers, gained serious traction during InfoComm13.
Combining aesthetics with superior audio, all TAIDEN flush mount units have a gooseneck, a built-in speaker and a microphone activation button, the three main characteristics of conferencing systems. “We design elegant solutions but speech intelligibility remains our number one focus” says Patrick Herlihy, Senior Product Manager with Media Vision. By keeping the microphone close to the sound source and providing a controlled meeting environment, conferencing systems are known to guarantee perfect speech intelligibility with no background noise, which is especially important for VTC applications.
As an option, the new flush mount conferencing microphone units can also have electronic voting buttons, contactless IC card sign in capability, language channel selectors, room combination, video tracking and more versatile features. Many models provide flexible layout options to accommodate most furniture cutout requests.
These newly released flush mount units are based on custom design requests received in the past years by the Media Vision team. “The TAIDEN factory is very receptive to custom enquiries and they are incredibly fast to respond” says Patrick Herlihy “They are a key support to our customer-centric philosophy in North America, helping us respond to every client enquiry and introduce the technology solution in new environments”.
These new conferencing microphones are available through the Media Vision network in North America and Europe.
